As Head of Quality & Food Safety, you will be the strategic and operational leader responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality, food safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance across all international production sites and commercial markets. You will oversee quality systems and teams at locations in Europe and beyond, including highly automated facilities. This role includes ownership of quality performance both in operations and in collaboration with commercial market teams, ensuring that customer expectations and global standards are met or exceeded.
You will lead both local QA teams and the global quality structure, and work closely with production, lab, sanitation, and senior management. You’ll be responsible for strengthening the quality culture, advancing continuous improvement, and preparing the organization for future growth and consolidation.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Lead and develop global and local QA teams, driving a strong quality culture across operations and markets.
- Ensure compliance with international food safety and quality standards (e.g. IFS, FFSC, BRC, HACCP) and lead all internal and external audits.
- Oversee and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring alignment across all sites.
- Monitor and manage product quality and food safety from raw materials to finished goods, including hygiene, cleaning protocols, and lab testing.
- Drive continuous improvement and process optimization, using data analysis, Lean/Six Sigma methods, and cross-functional collaboration.
